Former Nigeria U20 star Simon Zenke has been presented to the media after he signed for French Ligue 1 side AS Nancy.
Zenke, who was released from his contract by Turkish club Samsunspor, sealed a two-year deal with the modest French team.
According to a statement on the AS Nancy official website, the former Racing Club de Strasbourg striker with whom he won the Gambardella Cup in 2006, was presented on Thursday evening for spectators who attended the team’s training.
After spending time in France, the stocky ex-Niger Tornadoes striker, who featured for Nigeria at the 2005 African Junior Championship in Gambia, moved to Turkey and helped Samsunspor to regain their place in the Turkish top flight.
