Uganda's representatives in the Orange CAF Champions League have progressed to the first round of the competition for the first time in their history after holding Lesotho Correctional Services (LCS) to a goal less draw.
The tax collectors advance courtesy of a 3 goal aggregate that they scored in Kampala. Speaking to Kawowo sports after the game, Coach Alex Isabirye was delighted with the team performance and hailed the boys for sticking to the plan.
"Am happy with today's performance because my players played to our game plan, we played not to concede and it has paid off", said Isabirye.

URA had the better of the first half but the hosts had different ideas in the second half though the tax collectors held on till the final whistle.
Alex Isabirye played with three defensive midfielders in Oscar Agaba, Osama Farouk and captain Manko Kawesa which restricted the team's creative play but it paid off at the end as they gave the needed protection to the defence line that was missing the experience of right back Simon Masaba who didn't travel with the team as he was on national duty with the Cranes in Brazaville but stand in right back Ssempira did well.
In the 82 minute, Said Kyeyune came on for Osama Farouk to increase the fluidity of the team's play offensively while Benson Ociti and Enock Kikonyongo also came on for Manko Kawesa and Vicent Kayizzi respectively in the 91st minute in a move that was meant to waste time.
In the end, the goal less draw ensured that URA progress to the first round where they are scheduled to meet Mali's Djoliba F.C.
