Ghana striker Asamoah Gyan scored a brace in Al Ain's comfortable 5-2 drubbing of Emirates at home in the UAE Arabian Gulf League on Friday.
Gyan scored Al Ain's fourth goal from inside the box with a perfect finish to the far post from the right in injury time of the first half.
The Ghanaian also netted in the 68th minute with a powerful header from a free-kick restoring his team's four-goal lead.
Gyan's double took his season tally to eight and now within a goal of leading scorers Edgar Silva (Shabab) and Grafite (Al Ahli).
Nigeria’s Taye Taiwo and Promise Isaac were among the goal scorers as their clubs won away games in the Turkey Super League.
Rabiu Ibrahim has appealed to Kilmarnock manager Allan Johnston for game time to prove to people back in his native Nigeria he is "still alive".
The 22-year-old midfielder is back in contention after collapsing during a 2-0 win over Ross County on 19 October.
"It will make people back home know that I'm fine, that there is no problem and I am still playing," said Ibrahim.
"I would appreciate that. My family have been a little bit worried even though we speak on the phone."
Ibrahim thinks his family might have thought he had been masking the real seriousness of his series of hospital tests.

Nigerian midfielder, Rabiu Ibrahim has finally returned to training at Scottish Premiership club, Kilmarnock.
Ibrahim collapsed during a league game between Kilmarnock and Ross County at Rugby Park on October 19.
He was subsequently taken to the University Hospital Crosshouse but discharged after further tests were carried out.
Fears had been raised that the midfielder may not play competitive football again following an incident involving Bolton’s Fabrice Muamba who similarly went down unchallenged at White Hart Lane 19 months ago.
Kilmarnock have signed Algerian central defender Ismael Bouzid until the end of the season.
The 30-year-old former Hearts player was offered a deal, along with ex-Rugby Park winger David Silva, following successful trials.
But former Rangers striker Nacho Novo and one-time Hull City and Tunisia f orward Tijani Belaid are not being kept on.
Bouzid will go into the squad for Saturday's Scottish Premiership visit to Partick Thistle.
Silva, a Cape Verde international, was released last summer after a two-year spell with Killie and joined Olhanense in his native Portugal, the 26-year-old being formerly of Porto, Tourizense, Lokomotiv Mezdra and CSKA Sofia.
