Nigeria U20 striker Alhaji Gero scored his first goal for Osters in the Swedish league on Monday.
Ex-Enugu Rangers star Gero scored in the 44th minute to draw his club level after fellow Nigeria striker Kennedy Igbonananike opened scoring for the home team, but hosts AIK Solna will go to win the game 2-1.
Gero, who has also been capped at ‘B’ level by Nigeria, will also be booked in the 71st minute.
Osters need to get back to winning ways after going on a four-game losing streak recently.
They are 14th on the 16-team championship with 25 points from 26 matches.
Derick Chuka Ogbu
Romanian club, CFR Cluj have signed on Nigerian striker, Derick Chuka Ogbu.
Ogbu joins from the Belgian Jupiler League club, OH Leuven.
The 23-year-old scored eight league goals for Leuven in the 2012/13 season and is regarded as one of the brightest young prospects in European football.
A statement on the official CF Cluj website on Tuesday ratified the deal which may have raised a few eyebrows.
“The Nigerian striker, Derick Ogbu Chuka, had joined our team, CFR 1907 Cluj! Welcome to our club and we wish you good luck in this new season!” the statement read.
German Bundesliga side Freiburg have held talks with Romanian side CFR Cluj over the signing of youngster Muniru Sulley.
According to reports, officials of Freiburg were in Bucharest last week to discuss the possibility of signing the younger brother of AC Milan star Sulley Muntari.
The 20-year-old joined CFR Cluj on a free transfer in January this year but has overly impressed in his eight appearances made so far.
Muniru's contributions helped the club to reach the Romanian Cup final which will be played on 1 June.

The former Liberty Professionals youth team player was unveiled last Thursday.

Muniru, an offensive midfielder, was signed by Cluj as a like-for-like replacement for Senegalese Modou Sougou who has been snapped up Olympic Marseille.
"I just got to Italy with my teammates. We are playing Inter Milan on Thursday and I am in the 23-man squad," Muniru is quoted by Goal.com Ghana.
Marseille has made its third signing of the transfer window by recruiting forward Modou Sougou from Romanian club CFR Cluj.
Marseille announced the signing on its website Thursday without giving contract details.
The 28-year-old Sougou has played 10 matches for Senegal, scoring once, and scored 10 league goals for Cluj last season.
He can play on either flank and strengthens Marseille's attacking options after it sold forward Loic Remy to Queens Park Rangers last week.
Marseille coach Elie Baup described Sougou as ''an attack-minded player on the flank with a different profile to the players we already have, who likes getting on the ball and especially passing.''
Nigerian striker Yero Bello has returned to seal a year’s deal with Israeli team Bnei Sakhnin.
Yero, who was in South Africa to try out with Orlando Pirates, joined the Israeli side as a free agent after he left Romania club Vaslui.
Speaking with MTNFootball.com, Bello’s close confidant said the striker was happy with the deal.
“Bello was very happy that this deal scaled through. It will not be difficult for him to play in Israel as he has played for four different clubs in Israel before. He said he won’t let the team down for having confidence in him by signing,” the source told MTNFootball.com
