Ghana's young midfielder Albert Bruce will travel to England to undergo trials with England side Sunderland.

The 19-year-old, who is on the verge of ending his one-year loan spell with Polish giants Legis Warsaw, will join the Black Cats this month.

He will spend two weeks with the Premier League club before his future is decided.

Bruce was loaned out by Asante Kotoko but the youngster was unable to command a starting place in the team which has resulted in the decision for him to look for opportunities elsewhere.

"I do not know yet whether I will be tested in the first team or the reserves," Bruce said.

Leading Polish club Podbeskidzie have handed out stadium bans to a group of supporters who racially abused two visiting black players in a league game last month.

Lechia Gdansk's Burkina Faso striker Abdou Razack Traore and his Brazilian colleague Ricardinho were targeted during the visitors' 3-2 win at Podbeskidzie.

"The fans involved in the racist chanting have been identified thanks to security cameras," the club said in a statement.

"They have been served with stadium bans."

The struggling Polish side, which currently lies second bottom in the 18-team league, added that it is now up to the country's criminal courts to determine what further action the fans may face.

Nigeria defender Ugo Ukah has undergone a successful surgery for an arm fracture at the Carolina Medical Center in Warsaw, Poland.
   
The surgery was done under the supervision of Dr. Robert Smigielski on Monday.
   
The former AC Parma defender fractured his arm in a game against Górnik Zabrze and will now be on the sidelines for several weeks.
   
The towering defender who spent the previous five seasons in Widzew Lodz, on Friday debuted for Jagiellonia and lasted for just 12th minutes before the injury when he was kicked in the hand by Bartosz Ivan.

_Asante Kotoko midfielder Albert Bruce has arrived in Poland to complete his move to giants Legia Warsaw, MTNFootball.com exclusively reveal.

The 18-year-old impressive enforcer has joined the European outfit on a three-year contract after undergoing successful medical.

Bruce signed a pre-contract with the side after he impressed on a two-week trial in August last year.

He has now completed all formalities to begin his European adventure in a move that will excite manager Maciej Skorza.

Ghana striker Emmanuel Clottey failed to impress Polish side Legia Warsaw after spending one week on trial with the giants.

The Berekum Chelsea attacker has been told he will not be offered a deal and he returned home on Sunday.

The 23-year-old prolific goal poacher arrived at the club last week hoping to convince the club to offer him a deal.

But after being observed by the club's coaches Clottey has been told he will be not be signed by the club.

"Legia coaching staff has decided that Emmanuel Clottey will not play for Legia," the club’s Sporting Director Marek Jozwiak said.

Nigeria international striker Ekigho Ehiosun is set to visit Poland early next month to conclude a proposed transfer to Legia Warsaw.

Ehiosun, 21, is a direct-playing centre-forward who has been in superb form for both the Super Eagles and the country’s Olympic team since a goal-scoring debut against Sierra Leone in February.

Chairman of Warri Wolves, Ehiosun’s Nigeria Premier League club, Amaju Pinnick, has finally agreed for Ehiosun to consider Legia’s offer of a million Euros after a close-door meeting with the player's agent, Emmanuel Omijeh.

According to the agent who brokered the deal, Severin Bohul, told MTNFootball.com that "Legia Warsaw are willing to pay a million Euros for Ekigho Ehiosun. They also want to see the boy in action in a friendly organised for him on July 19.
