Mulumbu scored with nine minutes left and the Baggies equalised soon after at the Hawthorns to deprive Alex Ferguson of a victory in his final match as boss of the Red Devils.

Senegalese Demba Ba set up the opening goal as Chelsea won 2-1 at Stamford Bridge against Everton, whose goal was created by Nigerian Victor Anichebe.

Ghana winger Charles Takyi has returned to Germany after just one season by signing for Energie Cottbus.

The 28-year-old joined the Bundesliga II club on a two-year contract after spending one season in the Danish top-flight with Horsens.

His contract with Cottbus will end in June 2015.

Takyi leaves the Danish top-flight team on a free transfer having excelled in his one season with Horsens.

The attacking midfielder, who played for Ghana at the 2012 Africa Cup of Nations in Gabon and Equatorial Guinea, left German side FC St. Pauli in June 2012 in a disagreement over his new contract.

Champions League finalists Dortmund are expected to lose their star striker Robert Lewandowski, who is set to join fierce rivals Bayern Munich but has also been linked with Manchester United and Chelsea, this summer.

That has left Dortmund desperate for new options in attack and the prolific Cisse is one possible target this summer.

Kone, who stands out with his dyed blond hair, was in the Ivorian squad that flopped at the 2013 Cup of Nations, losing to eventual champions Nigeria in the quarter-finals.

Lacina Traore was another happy Ivorian goal poacher, coming on as a late substitute for Russian outfit Anzhi Makhachkala to equalise and then set up the winner for Cameroonian Samuel Eto'o.

Reigning African Footballer of the Year Toure collected his ninth goal of the season and first since February for deposed English Premier League champions Manchester City with a late thunderbolt in a 2-1 home win over West Ham.

Retired South Africa captain and midfielder Pienaar scored the only goal as Everton edged Fulham while in France Kenya striker Oliech netted in stoppage time to earn struggling Ajaccio a key 2-1 win over Montpellier.

Lille threw away a massive three-goal advantage to draw 3:3 against visitors Sochaux in the French Ligue 1 on Friday night.

Cote d'Ivoire striker Salomon Kalou netted twice in the opening half to give Lille a 2:0 lead at the break and Montenegro defender Marko Basa made it 3:0 in the 48th minute.

A late rally however saw Sochaux score three goals in eight minutes to snatch a point.

Veteran Mali defender Cedric Kante started the fight-back with a goal on 79 minutes before French midfielder Vincent Nogueira bagged two quick goals in the 83rd and 87th minutes to ensure the draw.

Nigeria striker Joseph Akpala is back in training with German club Werder Bremen after he was out for seven weeks with a left knee injury.

Akpala suffered a ligament tear injury in training in March, which meant he would be sidelined for at least a month and half.

The Jos-born star returned to Bremen on Sunday from Belgium, where he has gone for his rehabilitation.

He trained on his own on Monday with the physical trainer Reinhard Schnittker.

"I went through a rehab programme in Belgium. Now I can work on individual elements on the pitch," Akpala told the Werder Bremen official website.
